𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗕𝗘𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳?

𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗕𝗘𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳?

This sounds cliche but humor me for a moment.

I walk into my daughter's bedroom and there she is in the same position crunched on top of her phone for the past hour.

Girl, I don’t understand why you are watching the same video of yourself over and over again I say.

Oh, mom, she says this is my new Tik tok.

Ok great, why are you watching it on repeat I ask.

Well, she says my views and favorites have tripled in the last hour. This has never happened before she exclaimed!!

That's great honey I say - (It must be since she seems very intense over it).

Well, mama let me tell you what I did.

I made a new tik tok account and my friends don’t have a clue. They don’t follow me.

I don’t want anyone I know to follow me.

Ok, I say, why is that?

Because mama, I can’t post my videos freely if people I know are following me.

Hmmmm…..I start to think

The new video I posted on my new account where no one knows me has gotten so many views and comments. She continues to say truly excited.

I see this every single day. Maybe multiple times a day. Actually, this was me in the past.

It’s a mistake many people make.

And this is it:

People keeping their best version of themselves as far away as they possibly can for no one to see.

Not allowing themselves to shine in public.

Fearing:

-Failure

-Judgement

-Denial

Etc etc

By doing this, they don’t allow themselves to create magic.

Because as you have heard me say often enough: 

LIKE ENERGY attracts LIKE ENERGY and if you are not playing full out in life, work, and play you are not letting yourself be seen.

And you are missing out on being with people who would want to be with you and share in your joys, work, and fun.

STOP HIDING!!

 𝘼𝙗𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙔𝙊𝙐.
